DESCRIPCIÓN

Graduates from our bilingual bachelors program in International Relations will be highly competent professionals due to their strategic understanding of the factors, events and norms that shape global systems of governance and foreign policies in their multiple dimensions, including diplomacy, international trade and global commerce, international finance systems, development cooperation, global technology trends and environmental policies, amongst other areas.

Our International Relations specialists will be in capacity to lead complex organizations in establishing, administering and improving their policies, relations and operations across national borders and within them.

They will be capable of pursuing opportunities in both the public and the private sector, whether they may be multinational or transnational companies, local business, state agencies or non-governmental organizations.

PERFIL OCUPACIONAL
  • Research in International Relations, including aspects of international economic and trade policy and development cooperation.
  • Diplomatic Service Officer for national Foreign Service
  • Policy officer and policy affairs consultant for international organizations and it´s agencies, multinational companies and non-governmental organizations.
  • Advisor in international organizations and multinational companies on issues related to foreign policy, peace processes, migration, democracy, human rights, sustainable and international trade.
  • Analyst in international relations on issues related to foreign policy, peace processes, migration, democracy, human rights, sustainable and international trade.
  • Director of non-governmental organizations
  • Consultant for national and regional cooperation projects and initiatives.
  • Consultant for development cooperation initiatives at both national, regional, and international levels.
  • Project manager for development cooperation initiatives at both national, regional and international levels.
  • Director or advisor of public and private cooperation offices.
  • Consultant in public sector institutions, typically the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

REQUISITOS DE GRADUACIÓN
  • Aprobar todas las materias que comprende el plan de estudios.
  • Haber asistido a una actividad cocurricular programada por la Universidad por cada período académico matriculado.
  • Realizar una gira de campo por cada período académico matriculado.
  • Aprobar 150 horas a Trabajo Comunal Universitario (TCU).
  • Estar al día con sus obligaciones financieras.
  • Completar la encuesta de satisfacción académica que administra la Dirección de Registro.
  • Demostrar dominio del inglés mediante un examen de salida.
